Open IP Doors

by msecadm4921

Open More Doors with IP: The Convergence between IP and Physical Security is the title of a half-day event by IP network security product firm DVTel.

It’s running at the Microsoft campus in Reading.

It’s described as a joint end user and consultant event, and an opportunity to learn from ProCurve Networking by HP, HID Global and DVTel about what these companies are offering in the areas of networking and access control.

It’s on July 4, from 9.30am to 2.30pm at the Microsoft Campus Customer Briefing Centre. More information on exact location, agenda and registration links are found here:

According to the organisers, physical security convergence is transforming how end users are solving security and business directives, and this convergence is creating new opportunities for consultants by using IP for easier solution design, more efficient builds and cost-effective changes in an environment that is future proof.

This seminar will provide, organisers add, an opportunity to learn about the technologies and solutions for an IP-based physical security operations center that unifies video, audio, data, access control, and alarm management, into one command and control centre.
