Tridium Europe – an open framework product company for building automation systems – announces the availability of a Honeywell Galaxy driver for its NiagaraAX software platform, enabling it to interface with Honeywell’s range of Galaxy Dimension intruder detection panels.
The driver allows two-way communications between Niagara and the security panels, either via RS232 or IP, for monitoring and control. There are two versions available, to suit both single-panel or larger multiple-panel sites, which can be run on a JACE controller or an AX Supervisor.

It runs on all Tridium stations, providing seamless integration of Galaxy security devices within the building management system.”
The driver enables access for control, and status, of a range of functions within the Galaxy security system including: determining outputs; setting and testing of zones; system setting and reset; plus the ability to view, modify and add user profiles. Currently, the Honeywell Galaxy driver is only available in the EMEA region.
