Panther At IFSEC

by Msecadm4921

Dallmeier will display its largest ever range of cameras and domes at IFSEC 2008.

These include day/night box and dome cameras; module cameras, the vandal resistant Picodome; Dallmeierโ€™s IP camera range; the recently launched patterned housing DesignCams and the DDZ range of fully-functional PTZ domes โ€“ including the Dallmeier Panther, the worldโ€™s first high speed PTZ dome with UWDR Cam_inPIX technology.

Dallmeier has specialised in the development of cameras and domes using UWDR Cam_inPIX sensor technology based on the most up-to-date โ€™Digital Pixel System (DPS)โ€™ platform. Using this technology, the picture information of each individual pixel is converted digitally at the point of capture and processed in the most optimal way. This produces, according to the firm, greater image quality because each individual pixel is processed as if it were an individual camera. Images featuring a great range in contrast can thereby be recorded and stored in picture quality previously unseen.

At IFSEC 2008

Dallmeier will exhibit the latest addition to its UWDR Cam_inPIX® range, the Dallmeier Panther. Part of the DDZ range of PTZ domes, the Dallmeier Panther (DDZ3032A) offers users all the benefits of a remotely controlled high-resolution, high speed, day-night dome camera. The Dallmeier Panther features a one-third inch DPS sensor, pure 17-bit Digital Signal Processing, high sensitivity for low light images, progressive scan image capture, 16x optical zoom with additional 4x digital zoom, 248 programmable preset positions and 12 programmable guard tours and many other features and options.

DesignCams

Since its launch last year the Dallmeier Picodome with a housing diameter of just 80mm (IP 66 vandal-resistant) and a dome cover measuring just 57mm (polycarbonate), offers users a discreet solution. To save installation time, the DDF3000APV features a push and lock rotating ball, which enables the engineer to configure the camera in any required direction. Given the ubiquitous nature of security cameras, good looks are becoming increasingly important to users keen to balance the needs of security with the desire for aesthetic appearance. Dallmeierโ€™s response is DesignCams โ€“ a range of 50 distinctive housing styles are available, (see picture) although customers may request the customisation of their camera housing to a specific design. So whether you need to complement the stuccoed ceiling of a heritage site or match the burl wood interior of a casino, Dallmeier has a solution to suit. DesignCams are available for any of Dallmeierโ€™s range of Cam_inPIX cameras and domes.
