At the Port of Santos in Brazil, the port authorities are to use networked video.
It’s Brazil’s largest port. The Verint networked video product, delivered with The Informatica and Trielo, will enable the port of Santos to enhance the security of its perimeter and operations by centrally managing and analysing video transmitted over wireless and wireline networks, the firms report. It will also help the port comply with the international Maritime Organisation’s International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, which specifies security for international ports.
What they say
“We are pleased to be working with the Port of Santos,” said Dan Boner, President and CEO Verint Systems. “We have significant experience helping ports enhance security and are committed to developing new analytical solutions to enable them to meet their increasingly stringent security objectives.”
