Double Vision Pro is a video and audio product that can be worn on the body.
Applications include pubs and clubs to protect staff from malicious allegations of assaults. The product comes with a digital hard drive offering between two and 46 hours of continuous recording. The colour camera unit is wired to the hard-drive and switch allowing, flexiblity in the field, the makers report. The product offers a way of gathering evidence. The unit allows the user to keep both hands free during recording. DV Pro is designed to work with optional accessories, including download software, to allow transfer of video evidence to a PC. The product can also be worn in an Arktis utility vest.<br><br>Double Vision Lite is tape-based with an integrated LCD monitor. It uses video 8 tapes and has a four-inch LCD screen. A tape holds up to one hour 40 minutes of footage. The camera unit is wired to the Sony Video Walkman (GVD 800), allowing for review of video, and a switch. The VCR is housed in a body-worn carry case. The camera lead is connected to a switch so recording can be switched on or off as required.
