From Dycon, the D1500 Series of switch mode power supplies comes in two versions: ungraded for general purpose and EN compliant to satisfy the PD6662 and EN50131-1 requirements (Grade 2 and 3).
Both versions offer the same high efficiency rating and reliable design, covering a range of output currents, according to the firm. To comply with the relevant EN requirements the enclosure sizes reflect the need for differing size rechargeable batteries.
For ungraded power supplies, the D15X8 allows a single power supply output to be split into up to eight individually fused outputs. Each fuse is monitored and a red LED lights if a fuse fails.
Why choose
The makers reply – The 80 per cent efficiency rating of our power supplies (when compared to most linear power supplies) means that power consumption is halved, which results in energy saving for the end user and reduced pollution.
– PSUs are small in size and light in weight (from the elimination of low frequency transformers which have a high weight)
– They also run cool โ less energy is converted to heat, giving a longer lifespan for your equipment and back-up batteries.
– Both versions are available in a variety of current: 1A to 5A for the general purpose power supplies, and from 0.5A (Grade 2) to 3A for the EN compliant units.
– the ungraded range is available in 12V and 24V, and the EN compliant power supply range comes only in 12V โ perfect solution for your intruder, access, CCTV and fire power supply requirements.
– The D1500 Series offers compact, robust power supplies.
