National Identity Fraud Prevention Week seeks to inform businesses and the general public and about the threat of ID fraud and the simple steps businesses and consumers can take to protect themselves. This year’s campaign will run from October 18 to 24.
John Inverdale will be the spokesperson for this year’s campaign. John is a journalist who has had his own experience of identity fraud. In his role as spokesperson, John will shed light on how all businesses, large or small need to be taking steps to protect themselves and their customers.

This year’s campaign will also include the “Identity Fraud Prevention Awards”. These best practice awards seek to reward those companies doing excellent work fighting identity fraud.
