PAC International, the manufacturer of electronic access control products, has launched a proximity access control package for four to 16 doors and up to 10,000 users. The new PAC 1600 series four-door controller and dedicated software is based on PAC?s latest KeyPAC reading technology. It has been designed as an access management solution for single sites requiring straightforward access control and alarm management functions.
Available as an all-inclusive starter package including the new controller, four readers, software, PC-interface kit and 50 unique ID devices, the access control system is administered by a PC running the user-friendly PAC for Windows version 5/1600 software. By linking four 1600 controllers, the system can accommodate up to 16 doors and 10,000 key holders. The accompanying PAC for Windows 1600 software allows the management of access, people and alarms on one site and one division. PAC?s Photo ID module is included as standard and allows the importing and displaying of digital images alongside personnel records and the design and printing of ID cards. The products benefit from the full PAC five-year guarantee against electronic failure and the KeyPAC cards and tokens carry a lifetime guarantee. Upgrade paths are available using the same ID devices.
