G4S Transport and Borders has been re awarded a three year contract with Northern Rail. The contract will start on September 1 and is the contractor says the key foundation of its rail business.
The contract will see G4S continue to provide customer service and revenue protection services such as, issuing and checking the validity of rail tickets, assisting with customer service, as well as continuing to protect Northern Rail’s revenue by managing potential fare evasion.
G4S says that it has aligned its working practices with Northern Rail’s company culture and core values; this enables both businesses and staff to work productively together to meet both companies’ objectives.
