Re-deployable Camera

by msecadm4921

Manufacturer of CCTV management and control software systems, and re-deployable cameras, i-COMPLY, has released a compact version of its RAPIDCAM re-deployable wireless camera and IP transmission product.

The full PTZ Lightweight RAPIDCAM offers surveillance system operators an economical route, it is claimed, to expanding any CCTV system’s surveillance capability, expanding a system’s coverage, allied to reduced camera installation and maintenance costs, according to the makers.

Supplied as two separate components, the RAPIDCAM enables system operators to benefit from flexibility of camera positioning, enabling them to gain optimum camera scene coverage, together with the best possible signal transmission performance from the microwave client, it is claimed.

It employs combined video and data IP streaming to provide operator control. Coupled to a codec to maximise non-line-of-sight transmission location, it provides system managers with evidential quality images, whilst any future changes in a system’s available radio band frequencies can be addressed via the unit’s re-programmable transmission frequencies.

Allowing unrestricted camera positioning and flexible redeployment, the wireless design makes it suitable, the makers claim, for city centre and rural environments, and for use in a temporary situation or event.
