RemGuard Visual Management, part of AD Group, has launched a flexible charging scheme for new customers who sign-up to its event-driven remotely monitored CCTV solution
The firm says it is offering a choice of variable and – for the first time – fixed tariffs.
Alan Collinge, Director of RemGuard’s RVRC (Remote Video Response Centre), said: “Our new charging structure has been created to reflect the fact that the sites we monitor cover a broad range of sectors and sizes. The major change, following a review of our tariffs, is the introduction of a Fixed Tariff Option for new customers. This is based on the number and type of detectors installed on the site and connected via our RemVu Aquila transmission equipment to RemGuard’s RVRC. ”
Looking specifically at the Fixed Tariff Option, the standard charge of £30 a week will include up to 16 cameras, up to five external passive infra-red (PIR) detectors and up to 25 internal PIRs or external point to point beams. A charge for each additional external PIR will be made on a reducing scale. The Variable Tariff Option which RemGuard has traditionally offered will still be available for new customers at four tariff levels from Low User to Extra High. In the case of the Standard Tariff this gives a weekly monitoring rate of £25, including 25 minutes of detector activated monitoring with a charge of £1 for each additional minute. RemGuard adds that it continues to provide a free-for-use RemVu Aquila video transmission system for new customers who sign-up for a three year contract and a free router to those who opt for a broadband connection to the company’s Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC).
