Retail Business Technology Expo and Cards & Payments Solutions runs on March 13 and 14, 2012 at London’s Earls Court, South Hall.
The seminar and conference call for papers is now open for the expo.
Nick Field, event director, Retail Business Technology Expo, said: “The calibre of speakers at our launch event in March was outstanding, and we are committed to putting on an even better programme for 2012. We have four theatres, with over 80 sessions, so there are plenty of opportunities to hear the very best retail content there is to offer. We’ve undertaken extensive research to find out exactly what our visitors want to hear and the message is loud and clear – innovation is key.”
The conference programme at the 2011 event attracted over 2,000 attendees, with speakers from Aurora, eBay, Giant Eagle, Morrisons, Sonae, Starbucks, and Waitrose, and many more, covering a of topics including supply chain, multichannel, eCommerce, marketing to loss prevention, and tackling topical industry issues from the pros and cons of Cloud Computing to missed opportunities in retailing.
“We’re looking for original content, new ideas and topics which will appeal to a range of job functions. There is a huge appetite for information across the whole area of multichannel, which is completely encompassed in our show, and will be covered extensively. Likewise, international retail came up as another area where there’s a real hunger for information, and we are committed to at least 20 per cent of our seminars featuring Europe and beyond,” Field added.
The call for papers deadline is September 30, 2011. More details and hints and tips on how to submit a proposal can be found at http://www.retailbusinesstechnologyexpo.com/Content/SEMINAR-SUBMISSION/21/
Cards & Payments Solutions 2012, the dedicated exhibition and conference focused on cards and payments solutions in retail, run in association with Vendorcom and co-located with Retail Business Technology Expo, will be launching its call for papers shortly.
