Retail anti-theft product firm TAG Company has launched a new Triangular Label to add to its RF label range.
The disposable EAS label incorporates a coil circuit on a paper background, which can be customised with a barcode or a retailerโs logo. The new format offers a higher detection level than standard 4cm x 4cm labels used in 8.2 MHz Radio Frequency (RF) solutions, it is claimed, and its shape is suitable where retailers need to avoid covering up product information, the firm adds.
TAG claims that its new label has also proven to out-perform traditional EAS labels when used to protect Entertainment Media, an area often targeted by potential shoplifters.
What they say
Phil Doyle, Director of Sales and Business Development, EMEA, said: "Our new enhanced RF label provides the extra level of protection long needed and demanded by retailers of Entertainment Media and products where existing solutions hide merchandise detail. We and our customers have been impressed by the high performance of the label and we fully expect the Triangular Label to become the leading solution for many retailers in coming months."
