As part of partnership promotions, EyeforRetail and RILA are offering you the chance to book for this event with an extra £100 off of the ticket price (see www.eyeforretail.com/lp08 for pass details) – just to help with the travel costs to get to London.
On the evening of day one, relax with your peers over pre-dinner drinks, and new for 2008, continue your networking at a gala dinner. And a note – the conference hotel overlooks Tower Bridge and the Thames River so is convenient for sightseeing before and after the event.
"As the retail industry battles with difficult economic conditions in 2008, and margins are squeezed ever tighter, revolutionising the approach to loss prevention is crucial to protect the ‘last free money on the table’. This event aims to bring together industry leaders and recognised independent experts to help retailers minimise internal and external loss from their stores and reduce opportunities for theft, fraud and process error in their supply chains," says the event organiser, Sara Lloyd-Jones.
The information and events provider EyeforRetail, based in London, has announced a partnership with the Retail Industry Leaders Association, whose membership includes more than 200 companies and represents more than $1.5 trillion in sales.
Retailers are looking for opportunities to hold onto every bit of margin. This has led to more and more major companies recognising the importance of loss prevention and security management and how it can contribute significant sums to the bottom line.
EyeforRetail, as well as producing conferences bringing together retailers to discuss how to reduce loss in their operations, provide newsletters and information for the Retail LP and Security industry. Through their partnership with RILA, EyeforRetail hope to be able to reach out to more LP professionals in the United States to help broaden their significant presence in Europe.
