More retailers have joined the retail mentors scheme run by the Association of Business Crime Partnerships.
The latest are Dixons Retail, which includes PC World and Currys ; and House of Fraser (HoF), the department store group.
This will give member partnerships for example access to HoF loss prevention managers where they can ensure that local partnership issues, intelligence and incidents can be shared to help provide a more effective service to the retailer and ABCP members.
The scheme now has eight participating retailers who can liaise with partnership crime managers and where crime managers have access to a nominated contact within each retail member. This will the association adds help to create the right levels of contact and confidence in the work and effectiveness of partnerships. ABCP was formed in June 2010 as a merger between Action Against Business Crime and the business crime initiative of the Association of Town Centre Management.
