The Alarm Annual Conference and Exhibition for local authority risk managers runs at Southport on June 28 to 29.
The theme of the 2010 conference is "Bridging the Gap" reflecting the need for public service bodies to narrow the gap between their position today and their aspirations for tomorrow.
With the public sector finding itself facing challenges it did not anticipate a few years ago the Alarm Conference will be focusing on how public services can build bridges between risk management and service delivery across their organisations.
This year the Keynote Speakers will be Colonel Bob Stewart and back by popular demand, Caspar Berry. The Awards Dinner will be hosted by Gyles Brandreth.
Peppy Marshall, Partner for Weightmans Local Government team will be speaker for one of the seminars and other members of the law firm’s team will be available to talk to.
