Trainers SAFE have announced the release of a new learning package providing learning materials at level 4 for security risk management.
The programme, which provides all of the learning materials to support the delivery of a four day course leading to the new BTEC Level 4 in security risk management, is offered under license.
The materials cover seven topics including security risk, internal and external crime, asset threat and counter-measure implementation, e crime, security risk surveys and checklists, physical security and counter-measures and cost benefit analysis.
Raymond Clarke, Managing Director of SAFE, said: “We believe that this provides the most comprehensive programme available at this level for security risk assessment. Our objective has been to produce a package at management level which explores risk to property people and information within a financial and business context>”
Stuart Kedward, HR director of The Shield Guarding Company who have piloted the materials said: ‘In common with all SAFE programmes, the materials are challenging and add real value to those that undertake them. It is our intention to use the package to train our contracts managers, raising the quality of advice and service that we can provide to our own customers.”
