Crimestoppers has limited places for runners to take part in the world’s biggest half marathon.
Run in aid of the crime reporting line on September 18 in Newcastle and help make the community a safer place, the charity behind the 0800 confidential phone line says.
Crimestoppers adds that it is the only UK charity dedicated to helping solve crimes. Every penny you raise will be used to promote Crimestoppers throughout the UK, encouraging people to call the 0800 555 111 number and give information about crime anonymously and safely. Around 18 people every day are arrested and charged as a result of a call to Crimestoppers, the London-based charity adds.
All we ask is that you pledge to raise £300 on behalf of the charity and in return you will receive a place in the 25th anniversary of this race.
