After the previous five “Safer Doors” conferences for the leisure security sector, this year’s event has been widened to include the manned guarding and CCTV sectors as well as door supervision.
The theme for the conference on September 29 at The Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire will be: the safety of front line security personnel.
The event will feature seven speakers from the security industry, followed by three separate breakout sessions, one for each of the door supervision, manned guarding and CCTV sectors. Delegates will also be able to visit exhibition stands.
HABC’s Director of Security and Licensing, Andy Walker, who will be hosting the event as usual said: “I am very pleased with the range of top level speakers we have been able to attract to give presentations at this year’s event. The safety of front line security staff is sadly becoming more of a priority as the years go on, and it is imperative that we all do whatever we can to promote safety to protect our staff. I am sure that the “Safer Security” conference will help towards increasing safety within the industry.”
