SASIG In Business

by msecadm4921

The Security Awareness Special Interest Group runs next on May 16; the title of this quarterly event; The Business Case for Security Awareness.

The Royal Bank of Scotland is hosting the event at their headquarters in Edinburgh.

As the consultants and event organisers, The Security Company (International) Ltd, put it, security awareness is always going to be a hard sell, and we will constantly be competing with the many other demands on end users’ attention. Information overload is something we all suffer from, organisers add. This meeting seeks to look at creative and innovative ways to attract staff interest in the whole subject of security. Full agenda to follow, but promised is a participation event in finding evidence in a ‘crime scene’ – and how to avoid a crime situation.
