Access control product firm TDSi has announced the launch of its EXchange scrappage scheme. It’s designed to aid upgrading from the Poole-based company’s S-Series controllers to its new EXSeries controllers.
The EXSeries range of network controllers are described as the building blocks for mid to large size, single or multi-site networked access control and integrated security system networks. The range is designed to have compatibility with other TDSi systems and even hardware from other vendors (using the Universal Decode feature), to maximise the return on investment. Applications are said to include hospitals, the utility sector, large-scale transportation facilities and industrial sites.
TDSi Managing Director, John Davies says: “The EXSeries network controllers are already a highly beneficial addition to any client’s access control network. However we also know that our partners appreciate an incentive with which to help end-users reach the tipping point when it comes to upgrading their systems, so offering massive discounts on new controllers to retire older models which have been superseded makes sense both from a technology and financial point of view.”
The EXchange scheme takes care of the old controller, fully adhering to legal requirements for safe disposal. TDSI will make a donation to the Help for Heroes charity for each controller exchanged. For more details on the scheme –
