At IFSEC 2005 in May, ESSA Security Group is exhibiting its latest generation touch-screen controlled CCTV and security management system.
The system uses touch-screen technology to provide navigation around complex installations using graphical site plans and control symbols. Equipment such as matrix switches, video recorders, multiplexers and remote CCTV systems over a variety of transmission mediums are all supported from the operator terminals, using custom icons and graphical site plans.
Multiple operator terminals can be added to the system giving a control or monitoring centre flexibility within its programme of expansion. This, with remote site networking facilities makes the Essa system suitable for control room automation, the makers claim.
The systems provide operators with a way of managing and controlling large sites, the firm adds. ESSA stand U83 at IFSEC 2005.
