Screening Package

by Msecadm4921

Training firm SAFE has launched a training support package for employers wishing to undertake employee screening to the requirements of BS7858, the British Standard for screening for security staff.

The trainers report that the package comprises a PowerPoint presentation, lesson plans and sample documentation, providing all the materials that a trainer would require to provide a one-day training programme. The package can be purchased or licensed, with options provided for SAFE certification and the customisation of the package to include the logo of the organisation purchasing the package.

What they say

Raymond Clarke, Director of SAFE, said: “This is a significant launch for SAFE, further emphasising our determination to provide a broader range of materials to the industry. Recent improvements to standards for trainers as a result of the publication of the requirements for trainers by the SIA, should give confidence that trainers in the sector can and should undertake broader roles. Access to high quality support material is critical in supporting this development, and SAFE intend to play a leading role in the process.’

The package has been priced at £255 plus VAT for sale, or £195 plus VAT for the first year license and £50 per annum thereafter. Customisation with the purchaser’s logo adds a further £30 plus VAT to the sale or first year license fee and optional certification is being provided at £4.90 per certificate for training delivered by those meeting the standards of the SIA.
