Server Preview

by msecadm4921

At IFSEC, the Synectics stand will be dedicated to analogue and digital integrated system solutions, the firm reports.

The manufacturer will preview its Virtual Matrix Server (VMS). Based on their SynergyPro management software, the new solution provides CCTV system management, while eliminating the need for additional hardware switching devices, the makers say. Saving on installation cost, it enables large integrated security management solutions to be deployed over IP networks, the firm adds. Supporting single, or multi-site applications, SynergyPro VMS is suitable, it is claimed, for remote IP monitoring of manned or unmanned sites.

At the control room, SynergyPro VMS provides operators with either single or dual monitor workstation control. In dual monitor mode, the SynergyPro interface is retained on one monitor, whilst ‘live’ and ‘recorded’ video is displayed on the second monitor, in a variety of full or split screen scenarios; providing operators with unparalleled simultaneous ‘live’ and recorded playback. In larger control room environments, further display facilities are provided by the SynergyPro Monitor Wall Controller, this allows full or split screen display to DVI or VGA compatible displays.
