Access control manufacturer Nedap NV reports it has every reason to make its presence at this year’s security trade show in Essen in October a special one: celebrating Nedap’s 75th and AEOS’ fifth anniversary, Nedap will launch a range of new AEOS functionalities (for example in the field of biometrics) as well as a new AEOS product line.

According to the firm, recognising the urgent need for integrated security at airports and other entry points, Nedap developed AEOS functionality for travel document readers and will be demonstrating this application at the show. In addition, new facilities for the very latest biometric applications will be displayed, such as fully integrated vascular pattern recognition. Integrated access control systems for people as well as vehicles, will also be shown. The new AEOS range that will be launched at the Essen security trade show further continues this line of integrated solutions incorporating technologies with a number of new models.
