The Security Industry Authority has brought out a 16-page brochure, titled Spotlight on security; why business must make the difference.
It carries articles from SIA chief exec John Saunders; BSIA chief exec David Dickinson; an introduction by Sir Digby Jones, director-general of the CBI; and Paul Goggins, the south Manchester MP and as under secretary of state at the Home Office, the man with political reponsibility for the SIA.
The document details the approved contractors scheme and a case study about GlaxoSmithKline and Arwyn Hughes, director of security, UK operations, at the pharmaceutical multinational.
