e-BS has launched TimeGate and other new products.
Chairman of e-BS, Robert Dryburgh, pictured, addressing customers at the company?s headquarters in Godmanchester, explained how, after last year?s acquisition of the RCS Business, e-BS embarked upon a redevelopment of the RCS product range. He explained the e-BS vision: a range of products for the security industry based on modern technology, easy to use, able to meet changing market needs, and scaleability for customer expansion. He also explained the concept of single data entry and the cost savings from using TimeXchange. Strategic partnerships have also been established to enhance the e-BS total solutions concept.
The two-day, well attended launch saw enthusiastic and positive customer response, e-BS report, with orders being placed for a wide range of products. The launch included:
TimeGate (Advanced Scheduling and Time Management system); E-CRM (Customer Relationship Management for Security Industry); E-EMP (Employee Empowerment); TimeXchange (Interface solution for third party and other e-BS solutions); WeBSource (Web site content management for the Security Industry); WebForms (Web based automation of all internal forms); SecVet (Security vetting and screening programme); Airport and Event Solution (Smart Card Technology by Gemplus); and GuardTrac (Computer Aided Guard Tracking by Innovise).
There was much interest in TimeGate, a product following the RotaWin and Active CallPlan. TimeGate is compatible with MasterLink, PinPoint and delivers new data capture opportunities with smart card, finger print, patrol clock and other advances in technology. There was particular interest in two new modules: TimeXchange, the e-BS standard interface programme that allows the exchange of data between any e-BS product and most third party applications, which is particularly important for adopting the single entry philosophy. SecVet, the e-BS vetting and screening programme is designed to meet the BSI standards for personnel vetting in the security industry. It is acceptable to the Inspectorate of the Security Industry (ISI) when used in accordance with the criteria specified in BS7858 Code of Practice, e-BS report.
