The site is fully interactive and specifically designed to help customers with the specification and installation of products, according to Abloy.
The product section has been upgraded and now offers full technical, installation and specification information for each product. A database links associated products and cross references product details with available downloads and other related information, the firm says. Alongside each product are links to compatible products including door cylinders, handles, mechanisms, strikes etc. enabling you to view and select the various products and parts required to complete a specification.
Customers can now see at a glance, the various ordering options available for each product, allowing them to select the correct backset size, colour, finish, mechanism type, keying or door handing. Registered users and customers can access the information available within the secure part of the new site. ‘My Abloy’ allows the user to select products required for a specific installation and store them before placing the order or requesting a quotation. Users can also access comprehensive technical support and instantly download product data sheets, installation instructions, wiring diagrams or dimensional drawings. Users can also register to receive regular newsletters, details of new products, technical updates and product promotions.
