Network CCTV manufacturer Axis Communications has received the Ingram Micro Award of Excellence in the Emerging Solutions arena.
Axis reports it has become part of the Ingram Micro Solution Centre as a provider of network video solutions to resellers worldwide. Commenting on this award, Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications US said: “Ingram Micro is the world’s largest technology distributor and a major influencer in the technology industry. We are delighted to be recognised as a key contributor to their success in the emerging network video market. Through the support of partners like Ingram Micro, Axis continues to grow the market and evolve its products to remain at the leading edge in this emerging market." The network camera market continues to gain strength and is expected to eventually overtake the analogue camera, Axis claim. Paul Bay, Ingram Micro’s vice president for US vendor business management, summed up the award by saying: “Ingram Micro is pleased to name Axis Communications as the recipient of the Award for Excellence in the Emerging Solutions arena. Maintaining strong relationships with partners like Axis ensures that Ingram Micro remains at the forefront of the global technology marketplace." Axis network video products are used for applications including security and remote monitoring.
