Glaxo Smith Kline London headquarters and the Rockingham Motor Speedway at Corby are two recent projects equipped with door security by Dom-Nemef-Corbin UK. The company, part of the Black & Decker Group, specialises in security products for the architectural and interior design market. All the ironmongery for both projects was supplied by architectural ironmonger Higrade Hardware. At GSK, 1100 master-keyed DOM cylinders provide a patented key system throughout the project. The interior fit-out architects were Swanke Hayden O?Connel. At Rockingham, 250 similar master-keyed cylinders were supplied including all the doors in the 300m long grandstand designed by Ridge. The DOM system of cylinder locks was specified for these projects not only because of the flexibility it offers but because all DOM cylinders are fully patented providing total key control, say Dom-Nemef-Corbin UK. The system ranges from the conventional key to the reversible dimple key to the Diamant steel cylinder. DOM cylinders are available through ironmongers with types and finishes to give specifiers and end users maximum flexibility. Value enhanced locks can now be tailored to meet price, purpose and security requirements. Cylinders can be retrofitted into most existing lock cases.
