Silent Witness has released the square version of the MagnaView V28. The Canadian CCTV manufacturer has added a square enclosure to the MagnaView series to offer more application options to customers. The MagnaView V28S Square, ideal for prisons and other environments where the security of the camera may be at risk, is the strongest camera within the MagnaView series. Its square design provides a snug fit for corners making it highly tamper proof. Dean Lumb, Director of Product Management, says: ?Based on customer feedback and the success of our V27 product line, Silent Witness has developed the Square version of the MagnaView. Customers can now have the full featured V28 camera in a square mounting option.? MagnaView, which features plug and play installation, is the most advanced analog camera offered by the firm and made its debut at the 2001 American Society for Industrial Security show in San Antonio, Texas, in October.
