James Willison, Convergence Lead for ASIS in the UK, addressed the Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) on April 10
He spoke on the issue of security convergence and its bearing on security awareness.
The event was held at Vodafoneโs Newbury headquarters and was attended by more than 80 security people from all sectors of the industry. James spoke about ASIS International and the UK chapterโs commitment to the convergence process including involvement in the work of the Information Security Awareness Forum (ISAF).
He emphasised the importance of all those dedicated to the security function working together with a variety of organisations to combat the rising problems of fraud and the blended threat of cyber terrorists exploiting physical and network security vulnerabilities.
