Visitors interested in attending techsec on November 23 and 24 2004 at ExCel London should register online at www.techsec.co.uk or call the ticket hotline on 0870 429 5306.

With the ever-increasing threat of attacks on people and premises, there has never been a greater need for a dedicated event on security solutions to equip you and your staff with the intelligence they need to deal with a security dilemma and prevent future threats. So say the organisers of techsec which takes place on November 23 and 24, 2004 at ExCel London. It provides just that with its content driven event exclusively for security solutions, the organisers report.

techsec combines the best elements of a traditional exhibition and conference with presentations, masterclasses and case studies alongside product demonstrations from some of the world’s leading security solution providers in a business environment to help find solutions to these challenges.

Products and services include CCTV, Access Control, Systems Integration, Vehicle Recognition and Security Monitoring. Exhibitors include Panasonic, Honeywell, HID, Baxall, CDV Access Control, Geoffrey Industries, Bewator, Traka, CBC, Derwent, Visimetrics and Datacard to name but a few. For a full list of exhibitors, go to www.techsec.co.uk

One of the highlights of techsec is the educational content, which can be divided into three tiers;
Tier 1 – masterclasses focusing on the security management of major incidents within key environments including retail and property, business and commerce, transport and leisure, entertainment and hospitality. The masterclasses are being produced by CCTC, the UK’s specialist in security management who have drawn up a panel of keynote speakers including transport and senior police officials, liability lawyers, group security heads and senior media personnel.

Tier 2 – presentations focusing on modern day security business management. SSR Personnel, the official education partner will address issues such as discrimination and sexual harassment, staff counselling and support and staff motivation and team building. The HCIMA (Hospitality and Catering International Management Association) will be holding their Chip and Pin seminar at techsec focusing on credit card fraud and the shift in liability, while the IASB (International Association for Biometrics) will discuss current thinking behind biometric solutions.

Tier 3 – case studies from participating companies focusing on system integration, real time monitoring and access control.

The organisers say that unlike generic exhibitions techsec has been developed by end users for end users from a multitude of vertical markets giving them the opportunity to discuss their business requirements in a focussed, dedicated environment and benefit from the educational content which addresses real life business issues and provides solutions. Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Paul MacDonald on 020 8997 4083 or email: [email protected] or visit the website for the latest news and developments at www.techsec.co.uk
