by msecadm4921

A range of Peli torches has been developed for police use.

The units incorporate the latest in lighting technology, it is claimed.

The Peli StealthLite torch attaches to the Argus 017T public order helmet for hands-free light. Featuring a Xenon beam to cut through smoke and fog, the StealthLite is also submersible to 150m, the manufacturers add. The M6 tactical torch is now available as an LED version, offering 40 hours of battery life and 10,000 hours of lamp life. The VersaBrite 3 LED is a clip-on torch. The VB3, which clips onto a stab vest, are suitable for police forces, it is claimed. The unit offers 100 hours burn time, while the LED lamps never need replacing, the company adds.
