BPT Security Systems (UK) Ltd, the entry security and home automation product company, has launched the Mitho colour, touch screen monitor. According to BPT thisbrings together video door entry and home automation in it’s claimed one compact, minimalist unit.
Mitho is available with either an integrated handset that can also be used hand-free, with a touch screen measuring 4.3-inch or as Mitho XL with a larger seven-inch screen. The screen can not only be used as a feature rich video monitor for door entry with visitor voice messaging and video digital zoom facility, but can control all the functions within the home, such as room temperature, lighting, energy efficiency control, shutter and awning automation and intruder alarm system; anything electrical.
Scenario settings allow a user to programme ‘exit’ settings, ‘bedtime’ settings and so on, which are activated in one step on the screen. Mitho represents the amalgamation of the BPT door entry and home automation product lines for the first time, the makers say, in what they term a truly contemporary design.
