Training Agreement

by msecadm4921

Following the recent agreement between IPSA and trainers SAFE to work on the development of training in the security sector, IPSA has announced that it will add the SAFE BTEC Supervisory Management programme at level three, and the new SAFE BTEC Security Risk Management programme at level four to its own training calendar.

The courses will be run by IPSA trainers, using licensed materials provided by SAFE.

Justin Bentley, Chief Executive of IPSA, said: “The issue of the training offer from IPSA has been a high priority for IPSA as we have been developing the strategy to strengthen and grow IPSA. We are keen to ensure that the IPSA training programme adds value for students and is recognised as being of the highest quality. The relationship that we have established with SAFE provides a very strong foundation to this objective and we look forward to launching the new programmes.”

Raymond Clarke, Managing Director of SAFE said that he was delighted that IPSA had adopted the programmes, which provides a clear example of two organisations recent commitment to work together. “At management level IPSA have always had a strong tradition and we are very proud that SAFE is able to make a contribution to the future development of this tradition.”
