Across Europe, the Tyco Fire group of companies are joining forces under the new brand, Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions.
The goal, according to the firm, is to simplify customer access to the companiesโ range of fire and safety solutions
Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutionsโ European MD, Ardy Azhir said: "Our integrated fire and safety businesses in Europe have long been market leaders. Our position today is built on the credibility of these legacy brands – including Mather & Platt in France, Total Walther in Germany, Wormald and Tyco Integrated Systems in the UK and the rest of Europe. We chose to rename ourselves because our customers wanted to deal with one name but trade through the same local contacts. This change represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen the image of our business and take us into the future with far greater visibility. Over the coming months we expect Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions will be seen by a wider audience, making customers even more aware of the vital part our organisation plays in every aspect of their daily lives. We are re-defining the company more clearly by adopting a new brand, in order to provide the critical consulting and integration services demanded locally and across Europe."
As part of the change, Tyco Integrated Systems of Cambridge will be identified under the Traffic & Transportation Solutions banner within Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions.
"From a customerโs perspective, things will improve in several ways," adds Phill Ford, Regional General Manager of the Traffic & Transportation Solutions group. "Firstly, as the name implies, our new structure will allow us to provide customers with a far broader and deeper range of expertise all from one source. Weโll be harnessing and developing our expansive portfolio of services and technologies from the enlarged group to give our customers an extended range of high quality solutions, all with the same high-level approvals and certification that they demand. Simply, from a customerโs perspective, weโre able to offer more choice."
