The UK Border Agency is at the heart of a new television programme.
The documentary series on Sky 1 focuses on the work of the agents who keep the UK’s borders secure. Starting September 9, UK Border Force goes behind the scenes at Heathrow’s Terminal 3 and the UK border control at Calais.
The eight-part series will show enforcement agents in action, conducting immigration investigations and working closely with police and other agencies.
The cameras follow the agents as they find illegal immigrants, and hear their often tragic stories. The series will demonstrate the work of officers on the front lines in often challenging circumstances. It begins on Sky 1 at 9pm on Tuesday. It will be broadcast again on Sky 3 on freeview later this year.
