Access control manufacturer Cardax has entered the United States market, with joint venture partner Security International
Cardax International and Security International signed the shareholder agreement in May 2002. Simon Brown, Managing Director, Cardax, reports that Security International are providing valuable feedback. Joel Konicek whose career includes developing Northern Computers in the United States, has formed Security International. Former Honeywell and Northern Computers senior research staff will direct the research, development and engineering initiatives. The partners say that network connectivity is a cost-effective approach to access control, as using company wide networks allows for simplified installation, reduced maintenance costs and centralised monitoring of remote sites. All transactions at Security International will be web based, including purchasing, customer service, enquiries, troubleshooting techniques, web based training and support and tracking of orders.
