Valley Change

by msecadm4921

Readers with good memories will recall the November 2003 feature on the Valley Watch scheme, set up in 1996 to combat crime on the Team Valley industrial estate in Tyne & Wear.

Roger Brunning, who has managed the company since it formed more than 10 years ago has been appointed to the board as Managing Director. A new General Manager, Cyril Deeming, has been appointed at the Valley Watch CCTV Monitoring Centre. Cyril was a contracts manager with ISS Pegasus Security in the north east. He will promote and market Valley Watch until Roger retires when Cyril will take control of the company. The control room has recently had a £150,000 refit to provide expanded control capacity and to incorporate the latest command and control technology.
