After last year’s Network Advantage concept at IFSEC, the event is to have a new feature, called The HUB, report event organisers CMPi.
Visitors to The HUB will have individual product demonstrations hosted by IBM and its channel partners. Through what are described as a series of interactive pods, IBM will show how IP and networking technology can improve security and at the same time reduce costs. Event director Richard Clarke said: “We are delighted that IBM is involved and look forward to the event marking a new phase in the convergence of security and IT. The response to Network Advantage has been tremendous, the area has more than doubled in size, with over a hundred IT and network companies now involved at IFSEC. The possibilities presented by the new technology in this area are huge. With The Hub and accompanying seminar programme, we aim to identify a range of new business opportunities for visitors to the show."
