York Award

by msecadm4921

One of the longest established business crime reduction partnerships (BCRPs) in the country – Retailers Against Crime in York (RACY) has been awarded the Safer Business Award with a distinction after their earlier re-accreditation inspection.

RACY business crime manager Michelle Sutcliffe received the award from Richard Barron, chief executive of the Association of Business Crime Partnerships. Michelle said: ‘RACY’s relationships, methods and systems were assessed by a representative of ABCP. Our success has been enhanced by excellent partnership working between North Yorkshire Police, Safer York Partnership, council CCTV, Sitelink Radios and RACY members who have all helped to reduce retail crime in York.’
