OSPAs 2018 sponsor

by Mark Rowe

The UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) report Babcock MSS is the headline sponsor for the 2018 Awards. The ceremony, to be hosted by former Derbyshire Chief Constable, Mick Creedon, will be held at the Royal Lancaster, London on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Mike Pimlott, MD of Babcock MSS said: “Sponsoring the UK OSPAs for a consecutive year represents a perfect partnership for Babcock MSS. We are a “different” style of security business, global vision with human intelligence at its core, that is open, transparent and engages customers as partners. The OSPAs extends this approach, recognising collaborative and combined efforts across the broad spectrum of security.”

And Prof Martin Gill of consultancy Perpetuity, founder of the OSPAs, said: “We are delighted that Babcock and Mick Creedon will be supporting the Awards. Working with such trusted partners means that the Awards will be able to flourish as we celebrate excellence for those working within the security sector.”

The UK OSPAs were launched earlier this year and form part of a global awards scheme already running in eight countries. Their aim; to recognise and reward outstanding performance across the security business sector.

Entry to the UK OSPAs is open until midnight on Monday, November 13 and nominations are invited in 16 categories; visit www.uk.theospas.com.
