Shopping centre contract

Jones Lang LaSalle has awarded a three-year contract to provide soft services at the Church Square Shopping Centre in St Helens to Incentive FM, a UK facilities company.

Incentive FM will provide security and cleaning services at the centre. The facilities company provides services at a number of shopping centres managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, including Friars Square Shopping Centre in Aylesbury and Shrewsbury Shopping Centres.

Church Square, in the heart of St Helens, houses 84 retail outlets and offers customers a range of cafes and food outlets. Incentive FM will also be supporting Jones Lang LaSalle and Church Square on environmentally sustainable practices โ€“ to date 98pc of waste is recycled, while electricity consumption has reduced by 6pc since 2010.

The FM firm says that it has received โ€œextremely positiveโ€ feedback from the 25 members of staff who have been transferred to the company under TUPE, after launching extensive internal training, as well as setting up staff on Personal Development Plans. Martin Reed, Managing Director at Incentive FM, said: โ€œOur market leading solutions deliver real value to our clients by raising standards and driving down costs.
