Secure Engineering celebrated their 25th anniversary in October 2013. The Kent-based installers write:
As with all the best business ideas, the premise for Secure Engineering was simple. Our purpose: to provide the best quality CCTV at an accessible price. Our products and services may have developed over the last 25 years but our purpose remains the same; ‘To keep our clients safe and secure in their operations.’
We started working from a quiet spot in the Kent countryside in 1988 and today our offices are still in Kent, in a beautiful position with stunning views over the Weald at East Sutton. Clifford Corne, Managing Director says ‘whilst we are all engaged in creating state of the art high technology solutions, it is really beneficial to be surrounded by nature’s own wonderful creations. It’s a kind of environmental tonic.’ Within these walls now works a dedicated team of 16 staff, and much like our environment it is growing all the time.
Keen to mark this landmark, Linda Doherty, Financial Director, arranged a delivery of champagne and cake to the office on the 1st of October, and got the staff together at the end of the day’s session, ‘We enjoyed reminiscing with the team, glass of champers in one hand and a tummy full of ‘Secure’ cake hand finished by Sue our Operations Manager. The stories recounted from those years got more interesting as the evening wore on and much laughter was had by all.’
Looking forward to the future, Clifford adds: ‘For the next 25 years we are going to continue implementing high quality, high performance integrated security and surveillance systems to keep our clients safe and Secure.’
