BCDVideo’s access control and IP video recording servers will feature an embedded recovery module. The US firm says this allows the system to restore the server to the original BCDVideo factory image in cases of disaster recovery. The makers say this new feature, called SMARTrecovery, eliminates the customer’s need to search for restore media and lets technicians ‘walk through’ the recovery process remotely, with no need for an onsite technician.

Meanwhile the company has partnered with Franklin Capital Networks (of Highland Park, Illionois) to offer 120-day interest-free financing for integrators working on large projects with longer-than-usual deployment cycles.
BCDVideo adds that this financing is available for any size project over $100,000 in BCDVideo servers and storage. All other features remain intact, including the five-year on-site global system warranty.
