UNION, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the physical security and door opening product company, has launched the new keyPRIME patented dimple cylinder, pictured, with an all-new reversible key design.
Through the existing patent protection and with an expected lifetime extension until 2036, UNION keyPRIME offers the longest patent protection in the market, the makers say. The patent offers secure key control with key blanks only available from restricted UNION keyPRIME stockists and dealers.
UNION keyPRIME is aimed at commercial, education and healthcare sites. It is also for small business and local government use. It can be keyed for one or multiple doors, while cylinder upgrades or replacements are easy and convenient to install, according to the firm.
