Pelco at IFSEC

by msecadm4921

Pelco by Schneider is exhibiting three of its new products at IFSEC.

The DX2000 Series digital recorder features interfaces to cash registers, automated teller machines (ATMs), and other devices for data and video capture and retrieval. The DX2000 is a fully remote managed and accessed digital recorder, eliminating unnecessary costs for applications not requiring on-site interaction, the manufacturers say. The product has a built-in capacity for up to 640GB of hard disk space, plus the capacity to accommodate more than 1,000 schedules for recording. Retrieval of video based on data, plus the traditional time/date search, includes options such as transaction numbers, text-strings, and qualifiers such as currency amounts. While suitable for ATM and cash register connections, the data interface allows connection with other devices such as alarms, access control, biometrics. A new dome camera from the US manufacturer is the Spectra III Series video security positioning system. The manufacturer reports full compatibility throughout the Spectra family; the Spectra III family includes four dome drives with a wide variety of feature sets and camera packages. The VMX200 video management system has an interactive system schematic that simplifies system set-up, giving CCTV users a product to provide a graphical port for Pelco video devices.
