Detection guide for installers

by msecadm4921

The detection product manufacturer Optex has published a guide to installers confirming a list of all of its indoor detectors that are now PD6662:2010 Grade 2 and Grade 3 compliant.

The guide, which is available to download from the Optex website, includes a detailed listing of more than 25 of the company’s detectors that conform to the new regulatory criteria, including those sensors with remote LED control. It also includes the latest SAVER passive infrared detector, pictured, designed for installers with smaller budgets.

Takuya Okamoto, Managing Director of OPTEX Europe, says that the range of OPTEX’s intruder detector portfolio means that it can satisfy every installer demand: “The list will help confirm in installers’ minds that if they are working with us, then our detectors meet all of the latest industry regulations,” he says.
