Winsted at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

Control room furniture manufacturer Winsted Europe & Middle East will be back at IFSEC in May 2013, on stand C60 in hall 5, exhibiting its new EnVision and E-SOC ranges, the first products to be launched by Winsted during 2013 – a year in which the company celebrates its 50th anniversary.

EnVision is Winsted’s new modular console that the firm says blends form and function in an ergonomically optimised single, double or triple tier configuration. Whatever the format, operator sight lines and viewing angles are maximised, the makers say, while staff remain comfortable and productive.

Winsted will also be debuting its E-SOC control station at the show. E-SOC combines the operational features of a workstation and console to offer flexibility and ergonomic design, helping to improve the performance of control room operators monitoring complex systems.

Terry Shough, Winsted EMEA’s General Manager, says: “We share an important anniversary with IFSEC this year. It’s the show’s 40th year, but Winsted was founded a decade earlier in 1963. 50 years on, our two latest furniture ranges are exciting news and prove that we’re not resting on our laurels.”

Winsted representatives will be on-hand throughout IFSEC to discuss customer-specific requirements and provide helpful information and advice on a range of control room-based issues. Winsted’s design services include illustrative walk-through animations demonstrating the multiple benefits of ergonomically designed, modular and ‘future-proof’ solutions such as consoles, media storage equipment and monitor walls.
